Privacy & inquiry notice

What happens when you contact Crossroads.

Effective October 4, 2026

Information we collect

When you submit an inquiry, we collect the information you choose to provide, such as your name, firm or defense team, email address, phone number, timing or next-setting information, and message. Our website and service providers may also process basic technical and security logs needed to operate and protect the service.

Online intake forms

The attorney and defendant intake forms collect contact information, referral and case-coordination details, and any optional background or support information you provide. Responses are saved in an administrator-only inbox for Crossroads to review and follow up. An email alert tells Crossroads that a form was submitted; it does not include the intake answers. No account is required to submit these forms. Please omit detailed offense accounts, privileged communications, Social Security numbers, and medical records.

How we use it

We use inquiry and intake information to respond, assess whether Crossroads may be an appropriate fit, coordinate next steps, maintain business records, and operate and secure the website.

Please limit the first message

Don’t send confidential case details, identifying client information, privileged material, or attachments through the initial inquiry form. We’ll establish an appropriate channel before sensitive material is exchanged.

No attorney-client relationship

Submitting an inquiry doesn’t create an attorney-client relationship or engagement. Crossroads provides nonlegal mitigation, investigation, and case-support services to attorneys and defense teams; it isn’t a law firm.

Service providers and retention

Hosting, database, security, and email-delivery providers process information only as needed to support these functions. We retain inquiries and intake responses for as long as reasonably necessary to evaluate and respond, operate the business, address disputes or compliance obligations, and maintain security. Information may then be deleted or anonymized when it’s no longer needed.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices

You may use the website contact form or call Crossroads to request access, correction, or deletion of inquiry information, subject to applicable legal, operational, and recordkeeping obligations.
